One-on-One Personal Training

Our staff of professional trainers are here to help you efficiently accomplish your fitness goals. In our one-on-one training session we will determine exactly what it is that you want to achieve and set a program in motion that will make it come true. There is no faster way to gain momentum in accomplishing your health and fitness objectives than through our focused, individualized training sessions where everything we do is centered around you.

One-on-one Rates:

One-Hour Personal Training Session - $70

5 One-Hour Personal Training Sessions - $300 ($60/session)


CrossFit Skill Training

CrossFit is a physical and mental journey in the art of fitness. As an athlete endeavors to gain proficiency in the sport of CrossFit they will inevitably encounter challenges that require more individualized coaching. Whether it's finally getting that first Pull-up or dialing-in that ideal position in the Snatch, these short and focused sessions will help you get over those difficult hurdles.

CrossFit Skill Training RATES:

30 Minute Session - $40

Five 30 Minute Sessions - $175


Small Group Personal Training

Nothing is more fun and fulfilling than working out with your closest friends. Our Group Personal Training allows you an affordable way to get personalized instruction in a social environment. These sessions are designed for groups ranging from 2 to 16 individuals and scheduled during times when your crew can make it in together. Our trainers will tailor your program to satisfy the needs of your entire group. 

Small Group RATES:

One-Hour Two Person Training Session - $90

Licensed Wellcoaches.…

  • Are mature, experienced health and fitness professionals who have completed Wellcoaches® wellness coach training (endorsed by the prestigious American College of Sports Medicine)
  • Meet clients for 45-minute coaching sessions (weekly or as needed), with a depth of Wellness resources and support for at least three months
  • Coach clients to a higher level of wellness – whatever your priorities and challenges in any or all areas of fitness, weight, nutrition, stress, and health risks

 

What you do…

  • Complete a questionnaire about your current lifestyle, health, fitness, and wellbeing – which helps you think about where you’re at and what you’d like to change
  • Commit to a wellness vision, three month behavioral goals, and take small steps each week with weekly goals

Optimal Wellness through Body Composition Assessment

A Tool To Track Your Progress….

Body Composition is the term used to describe the different components that, when taken together, make up a person's body weight. The human body is composed of a variety of different tissue types including lean tissues (muscle, bone, and organs) that are metabolically active, and fat (adipose) tissue that is not.

Body composition (particularly body fat percentage) can be measured in several ways. The most common method is by using a set of measurement calipers to measure the thickness of subcutaneous fat in multiple places on the body. This includes the abdominal area, the subscapular region, arms, chest and thighs. These measurements are then used to estimate total body fat with a small margin of error.  In addition to caliper measurements, your assessment includes body circumference measurements where measurements are taken around specific areas of the body.

Knowing your own Body Composition can help you:

  • Understand how your body responds to changes in growth, development, level of physical activity and aging.
  • Determine healthy goals to support your healthy body.
  • Define your body's nutritional needs for optimal performance.
  • Monitor the changes you will see in your body as you work towards your goals!

Think of your first appointment as setting a baseline for yourself.  You can develop your goals from there and use these tangible tracking techniques as a means to monitor your progress.

Kettlebell Training

A ‘kettlebell’ is a traditional Russian cast iron weight that looks like a cannonball with a handle. Due to their unique design and wide weight range, kettlebells allow for a variety of dynamic ballistic exercises that can be scaled to meet most fitness levels. The exercises are simple and can be easily incorporated into an exercise program. Kettlebell exercises incorporate the entire body and are designed to be time and energy efficient. 

North Country Kettlebell

The Confluence has partnered with North Country Kettlebell to bring Kettlebell training under one roof. Trainer Abdul Mujib works with kids and adults at all skill levels to improve overall fitness and strength. 

Kettlebell Craze is a one-hour group class designed to provide intense Kettlebell workouts for participants of all skill levels. Workouts are intended to teach and challenge all participants while providing the education necessary for progression in their Kettlebell training practice.

Abdul Mujib

For the past five years, Abdul Mujib has trained extensively with Russian Kettlebells, and is a Level 2 Russian Kettlebell Challenge Certified Instructor. In addition to his own training, Mujib has established the first Vermont-based Russian Kettlebell specific training program.

On-going weekly classes – $35/hour

Monthly training plans include At-home Workout Design, Projected Program Goals and Progressions, Video Analysis, and Video Consultation. Three month Enrollment discount available.
