Our 2 acre outdoor FitPark is a feature of our facility and a focus for our programming. We know that people in Vermont like to enjoy the outdoors when the weather permits, so our FitPark was developed to serve that desire to move your body outside. The Vermonster programming will utilize our outdoor environment to its fullest so expect to get a little dirty and very tired.

Chris Jackson is back for another season of "Hillbilly Parkour" as he heads out to the FitPark on Thursday evenings at 4:45, rain or shine, for an hour of action. Chris' classes are open to people of all fitness levels who are looking for some focused instruction on how to move efficiently through the natural world. Chris has been a lifelong athlete, which included 10+ years of collegiate and men’s division 1 rugby as well as martial arts (aikido, brazilian jiu-jitsu), and currently enjoys trail running. He makes his living teaching permaculture, farming, and in community mental health. He is also on the Plainfield Volunteer Fire Department and Fast Squad. He is a certified Mov-Nat trainer, which appeals to his “jack of all trades, master of none” personality.
